Offer working Christmas lights for sale or reuse online or donate to a local charity (check their criteria first).

Broken items could be repaired at your nearest Repair Cafe where volunteers will try and fix it for a small donation,

 

Alternatively take to a Household Recycling Centre and put in the Small Electrical Appliances or scrap metal container.  Please remove any batteries and place those in the battery recycling point.  

Residents in can place small electrical items on their black bin on collection day and it will be placed in an area under the vehicle and recycled separately.

Please do not put them in in your green bin – they will not be recycled.
