Ragwort
Ragwort
Ragwort is a toxic plant that can re-seed even after being pulled or dug up or cut – it is particularly dangerous to horses and landowners whose fields are blighted with ragwort are obliged to dispose of it to reduce the danger to any nearby horses.
Ragwort can be disposed of in the general waste container at a Household Recycling Centre. Please take it in sealed bags and inform the site staff that you have ragwort. Do not put it in your brown garden waste bin or the green waste container at an HRC.
