There is not much call for video recorders these days, but offer for reuse online.  Broken items could be repaired at your nearest Repair Cafe; where volunteers will try and fix it for a small donation or taken to a Household Recycling Centre and placed in the Small Electrical Appliances or scrap metal container.  

Residents in can place small electrical items on their black bin on collection day and it will be placed in an area under the vehicle and recycled separately.

Please do not put electrical items in your green bin - they will not be recycled.
