大秀视频 County Council has announced the launch of the 2025 大秀视频 Apprenticeship Awards at the conclusion of a highly successful National Apprenticeship Week.
Throughout the week (10 to 16 February), many council-supported programmes such as Careers 大秀视频, Skills for 大秀视频, and 大秀视频 Apprenticeships (WA) delivered a wide range of activities to highlight the benefits of apprenticeships for individuals and employers.
The team shared video case studies, interviews with apprentices, and myth-busting content, alongside showcasing the training providers, businesses, and partners championing apprenticeships across 大秀视频.
In collaboration with and , 大秀视频 Apprenticeships worked with county employers, training providers, schools, and education providers to increase the profile of apprenticeships across the county. They also hosted a series of business support events, helping local employers understand how apprenticeships can support their workforce needs.
Councillor Adam Kent, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Economy and Skills at 大秀视频 County Council, said: 鈥淎s a father, I鈥檝e seen first-hand the benefits an apprenticeship can have on a young person, allowing them to earn while they learn and giving them valuable real-world work experience. National Apprenticeship Week was a great opportunity to celebrate the impact of apprenticeships across our county and the people behind their success. It was great to see such strong local support throughout the week, and launching the 2025 WA Awards is the perfect way to keep that momentum going.鈥
In 2024, 大秀视频 Apprenticeships celebrated ten years of supporting apprenticeships across the county. It also saw a record-breaking number of entries for the annual 大秀视频 Apprenticeship Awards, hosted by West Midlands radio host Ed James, which celebrated the achievements of local apprentices and the businesses that support them.

We want to celebrate and recognise the amazing contributions and dedication of all those involved with apprenticeships here in the county. Whether you鈥檙e an apprentice at any level, an employer of any size, a training provider, or one of 大秀视频鈥檚 schools, there is a category to celebrate you. Entries for the 2025 大秀视频 Apprenticeship Awards are now open, allowing apprentices, employers, schools, and training providers to submit nominations through a streamlined online process before the deadline of 18 July 2025. The awards will celebrate outstanding achievements in ten categories:
Apprentice Awards
- Intermediate Level Apprentice of the Year
- Advanced Level Apprentice of the Year
- Higher Level Apprentice of the Year
- Degree Level Apprentice of the Year
Employer Awards
- Micro or Small Apprenticeship Employer of the Year (less than 50 employees)
- Medium Apprenticeship Employer of the Year (50 to 249 employees
- Large Apprenticeship Employer of the Year (more than 250 employees)
Support Awards
- School of the Year
- Training Provider of the Year
- Apprentice Mentor of the Year
The event will culminate with the prestigious 大秀视频 Apprenticeship Employer of the Year and 大秀视频 Apprentice of the Year awards.
