Draft local habitat map
The Local Habitat Map and where nature recovery measures could potentially be delivered.
Draft Local Habitat Map
Local Nature Recovery Strategies must include a Local Habitat Map, the purpose of which is to provide a clear, visual way for stakeholders to understand the areas which are or which could become of particular importance for biodiversity and the natural environment to target nature recovery action.
Some of the content of the map is required by law. We are seeking stakeholder views on additional map content as well as views on how the map should be displayed and function.
This Draft Local Habitat Map is available for reference only. We would welcome your feedback on an updated Draft Local Habitat Map which will be released in support of a Draft Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) and will be subject to public consultation in due course.
Questionnaires on where nature recovery measures could potentially be delivered
The Draft Local Habitat Map contains embedded questionnaires to capture stakeholder views on where nature recovery measures could potentially be delivered.
To use this functionality:
- open the Draft Local Habitat Map
- locate a place of interest using the navigation tools and click in that location
- A pop-up box will give you the option of telling us more about this piece of land and its potential for nature recovery by filling in a short questionnaire
You will first be asked if you are the owner of the land, and then directed to the correct questionnaire accordingly.
Please note, before submitting the questionnaire you will be asked if you wish to receive further communications from 大秀视频 County Council about the Local Nature Recovery Strategy and given the option to provide your name and email address to be used for this purpose.
No other personal data is captured by the questionnaire.
