One path into employment which gives a higher level of support and sometimes the opportunities to try lots of different employment options, is Supported Internships – and you can find out more about them on the Post 16 learning options for young people with SEND page.
Your local Job Centre can help you find a job, along with ´óÐãÊÓƵ County Council’s Supported Employment team, more details about both can be found below.
The Skills 4 ´óÐãÊÓƵ website has lots of information for everyone about looking for work, including information about starting your own business Are you an individual looking for work or support to look for work? Please bear in mind that this isn’t specifically for young people with special educational needs and disability.
