Early Years Inclusion Process
Find out about our new process to make sure the right professionals put the right support in place for your child.
The Early Years Inclusion Process (EYIP) will help achieve positive outcomes for children and their families, by ensuring needs are identified early and provision is in place to meet these needs in education.
The process exercises the Local Authority and Health Authorities’ responsibility to ensure that children's Special Educational Needs or Learning Difficulties and Disabilities are identified and addressed.
- do you have a child aged 0 to 5 years?
- are you worried about them starting school or nursery?
- could they have a special education need?
If yes, our new Early Years Inclusion Process will make sure the right professionals put the right support in place for your child.
If you think your child needs some extra help to start school or nursery, speak to your GP, Health Visitor or early education worker (e.g. nursery or childminder).
